Dowel, or literally translated dowel, is essential for maintaining your layered cakes.
Dowel rods are essential utensils for cake design. Sugar paste cakes, wedding cakes and wedding cakes often have heavy weights. Wooden dowels

Plastic dowels

Plastic columns for cakedesign

The different ways to use Dowel for cakes
After purchasing dowels , there are several ways to use them, the first is as a vertical support . By inserting the rods vertically into the bottom layers of the cake to support the top layers, your cake will be sturdier and not sag.
You can use them to separate the different layers of your cake . Simply place them horizontally in each cake layer to create a solid separation between them.
Another way to use the dowels is as a central support , insert them vertically into the center of the cake to ensure the stability of the cake and prevent it from sagging.
