Springform pastry mold
The springform pan or springform pan is a must-have for baking. Clever, it is very useful for making all kinds of cakes and pastries. This removable cake mold makes unmolding and cleaning easier. The springform mold is particularly popular for making fragile desserts, cheesecake, mousses, etc. We offer round and square springform molds of different diameters: 16 cm, 22 cm, 24 cm, 26 cm.
Made of metal, stainless steel or stainless steel, it is a solid mold that goes easily in the dishwasher, like any rectangular or individual mold .
What is a springform pan?
A springform mold does not differ much from other round or square molds , with the exception that it has a clamping system on its edge which allows you to tighten or loosen the preparation as you wish. The bottom of the mold is also removable, which is even more practical for unmolding.
How to use it ?
It is used like an ordinary mold, it is during unmolding where the springform mold shows its true usefulness.
Indeed one of the most delicate moments in baking is unmolding, the cake has swollen too much and it will only come out at the cost of cutting, the cake has stuck to the mold...
The springform mold avoids this, thanks to an ingenious system and a removable base!
When your cake comes out of the oven, place it on a trivet and wait a little for the mold to cool. All you have to do is activate the hinge by pulling on it to detach the cake ring and thus obtain a mess-free and perfect release.
If your mold is of poor quality (which will not happen with Autourdugateau molds), use parchment paper or rhodoid sheet in the bottom of the springform mold. If you are afraid that the mold will stick, use a lubricating spray and spray the mold generously.
It is widely used in making cheesecakes or other cakes that need to be held in place well and unmolding is complex.
