Simply remove the roll of blue fondant from its packaging and gently unroll it onto your cake. Start in the centre and smooth towards the edges to avoid air bubbles.

Use a fondant smoother to ensure a smooth, crease-free surface. Then, once the sugar paste is evenly spread, use a scalpel or knife to remove any excess from the base of your cake.

You can also cut out blue shapes using cookie cutters in this sugar paste disc to decorate cookies.

  • If you have any sugar paste left over, store it in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.
