Ready rolled fondant disc Grey Ø 36 cm funcakes

FunCakes' grey ready rolled fondant disc is a ready-to-use sugar paste. Using this ingredient saves time when decorating cakes. This is especially helpful for beginner cake designers who are still learning techniques.

In fact, all you need to do is take the grey fondant out of its packaging, place it in the centre of your cake, and then spread it out towards the edges. You don't have to worry about ensuring the sugar paste is evenly distributed or about its colour. It is ready to use right away for covering your cakes or cutting out shapes with cookie cutters for decorating your shortbreads, for example.

Once you have rolled out your Funcakes sugar paste, we recommend using a cake smoother to avoid air bubbles. This will also give you a neat finish.

You'll likely have some excess fondant at the base of your cake. You can remove it with a scalpel or knife. You can then add some extra decorations like sugar flowers or edible figurines to complete your cake design.

  • Before rolling out the Funcakes sugar paste, make sure your cake is completely cooled.
  • For optimal adhesion, apply the grey fondant disc over a layer of ganache or buttercream.
  • This pastry ingredient should be stored in a dry environment and away from heat.
