Here are the steps to use this product:

1) Cover your cake with fondant, ganache, or buttercream. The texture should be firm enough to accurately reproduce the design.

2) Place the stencil around your cake and secure it with pins.

3) Using a spatula, generously spread the frosting that will be used to create the snowflake pattern.

4) Then use a cake smoother to remove any excess frosting.
