Using the Gold Mirror Cross Face Topper:

Before attaching it to your cake, be sure to clean the face topper with water and a little soap.

To make it fit on your cake design you have several options.

- If your cake design is covered with sugar paste , you can use edible glue , brush the back of your topper face with the glue brush and place it on a face covered with sugar paste. Wait about 1-2 minutes while holding the topper face for the glue to set.

- If your cake is covered with buttercream or enchanted cream, place the topper face on a cream-covered side and gently press to fit the topper face in and hold it in place. You can add a little more buttercream on one side to make sure you have enough material!

- If your topper face keeps falling off with either of these two techniques, you can use flower stems ! These are very thin metal wires, so wrap the top and bottom of your topper face with this wire and stick the end into your cake.

Maintenance tips for the Cross or Mirror face topper.

The face topper is made of acrylic material, it is a fairly fragile material , so be careful to handle it and do not drop it.

Mirror colors like mirror gold are dirty so avoid handling them with your fingers directly on the mirror part to avoid marks. Before placing it on your cake design you can clean them with a clean cloth.

Once the cake is consumed, you can clean your face topper by hand with soap and water. Do not place it in the dishwasher.
