Large fèves (charms) for the galette des rois (king cake) in the shape of a white dog with black spots

Ditch the traditional ceramic bean with this set of 4 dog-shaped beans for your King Cake . Each one represents a small white spotted dog, with a different collar and pose.

Much larger than traditional fava beans, these are perfect for surprising your guests and customers. They'll allow you to stand out and offer a cute fava bean that can be kept as a souvenir.

Slip your lucky charm into a generously filled king cake

The advantage of homemade galettes is that they're usually generously filled! With these galette des rois charms , it's essential to have enough frangipane filling to hide them properly. For this, we also offer 1 kg bags of almond flour.

Prepare two discs of puff pastry. Place the first one flat on a baking sheet. Spread a little of your frangipane (or another filling like chocolate-hazelnut or apple, for variety) over it. Slip the little dog charm into the center, then cover with the remaining filling. Top with the second disc of puff pastry, seal the edges well, and bake!
