Want to create an original, colourful cake inspired by Caribbean traditions? Discover this Madras fabric print in sugar, an ideal edible decoration to bring a Creole touch to your designer cakes.
Inspired by the famous Madras fabric, recognizable by its checks and vibrant colour combinations, this decoration is entirely edible. It allows you to recreate the look of a traditional textile directly on the cake.
With this sugar sheet printed with a madras pattern, you can create birthday cakes. You can also prepare tiered cakes or wedding cakes inspired by the islands.
You can complement this print with sugar tropical flowers, sugar paste palm leaves or small decorations evoking the tropics.
A white cake decorated with a madras strip and a few colourful flowers, for example, makes for an elegant and original composition.

The choice between two food printing formats
To decorate your Madra cake, you can choose between an A4-sized sugar sheet or an A3-sized one.
The first type is ideal if you want to decorate the top of your dessert, or to make strips to place around it. You can also cut it as you wish to create personalized decorations. The A3 edible print, on the other hand, is good for larger cakes.

Place the edible image on the cake just before serving.
IMPORTANT: Do not use a knife, spatula, fingernail, or any other object to remove the edible image from its backing, as this may damage it.
USAGE TIP: To prevent the image from melting, it is recommended to apply it to a smooth, dry surface such as fondant or marzipan.
STORAGE TIP: Store in a dry place at room temperature, ideally in a cupboard away from light and humidity. To keep for a maximum of 4 to 6 months.
