1) Place the backing sheet with the sugar print in its plastic wrapper and freeze for 2 to 3 minutes. This creates a thermal shock. You can leave it longer if necessary.

2) Using a brush and water, lightly dampen the part of the cake where the edible print will be applied.

3) Remove the plastic wrapper, then roll the backing sheet along the edge of a table or work surface. This will allow you to peel off the edible part.

4) Place the edible image on the cake 2 to 3 hours before serving.

IMPORTANT: Do not use a knife, spatula, fingernail, or any other object to remove the edible image from its backing, as this may damage it.

TIP: To prevent the image from melting, place it on a smooth, dry surface. For example, fondant or marzipan.

STORAGE ADVICE: Store in a dry place at room temperature, ideally in a cupboard away from light and humidity.
