1/ Place the backing sheet with the sugar disc in its plastic wrapper in the freezer for 2 to 3 minutes. You can leave it longer if necessary to create a thermal shock.

2/ Using a brush and water, lightly dampen the part of the cake that will receive the edible image.

3/ Remove the plastic wrapper. Then roll the sheet along the edge of a table or work surface. This will detach the edible part.

4/ Place the sugar disc on the cake 2 to 3 hours before serving.

IMPORTANT: Do not use a knife, spatula, fingernail, or any other object to remove the edible image from its backing, as this may damage it.

TIP FOR USE: To prevent the image from melting, place it on a smooth, dry surface (sugar paste or marzipan).

STORAGE ADVICE: Store in a dry place at room temperature, ideally in a cupboard away from light and humidity.
