1) Place the backing sheet with the sugar disc in its plastic wrapper in the freezer for 2 to 3 minutes. This will create a thermal shock and make it easier to remove.

2) Lightly dampen the surface of the cake where the edible photo will go with a brush and water.

3) Remove the cake photo from its plastic wrapper. Then roll it along the edge of a table or work surface to remove the edible part.

4) Place the photo on the cake 2 to 3 hours before serving.

IMPORTANT: Do not use a knife, spatula, fingernail, or any other object to remove the edible print from its backing. You risk damaging it.

TIP FOR USE: To prevent the photo from melting, place it on a smooth, dry surface (sugar paste or marzipan).

STORAGE ADVICE: The cake photo should be stored in a dry place, at room temperature, away from light. Ideally in a cupboard.
