Solar system planet modeling mold perfect for modeling your cakes, cupcakes and biscuits with sugar paste, isomalt or almond paste.
The silicone of this modeling mold is of premium quality, that is to say that it is extremely resistant: it resists temperatures up to 200 ° C, it is also dishwasher safe.
Directions for use:
Start by preparing your silicone mold by lightly dusting the mold with cornstarch, then turn it over and tap it to remove any excess.
Prepare the contents of the mold, whether you use sugar paste or almond paste, start by making a sausage of dough and press with your fingers (which you will have previously covered with cornstarch) on the dough to make it penetrate well into each detail of the mold. Start from the center and work outwards!
For a perfect finish and to make sure you have all the details, use a rolling pin! Sprinkle it with a little tylose and roll it gently on top of your modeling mold.
Remove the excess sugar paste with a knife or a sugar paste scraper. Cut flush with the edge of the mold using back and forth movements.
Caution point. If you are using a mold with a lot of small details, it may be useful to place the mold in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. Then let the sugar paste dry, the drying time will depend on the sugar paste used but allow at least 15 minutes.
Finally, unmold your modeling by turning the mold over, it should fall off by itself so be careful. If some points of sugar paste do not come off, use the tip of the scalpel to peel off the sugar paste. If the paste does not come off at all, wait a few more minutes for the sugar paste to dry completely!
Then decorate your model by giving it color using food paint or by coloring the sugar paste directly with food coloring.
